Description

Thank you for your interest in National Women Build Week 2017, sponsored by Lowe’s! We are excited to host our 10th annual Women Build event, leading up to Mother's Day. There is no better way to honor your amazing mother then to bring your family, friends and co-workers together to help other women and families!

Women's Build empowers women in volunteer service and construction knowledge, and helps us raise money to build more Habitat homes in our local community.

Be a part of advocating for more decent, affordable homes for families in our community by building awareness about the importance of building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter, there is no better gift you could give to your community!

Fundraising for Habitat Women Build serves as a major annual fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country, including Habitat Stanislaus. A $25 registration fee is required for each participant. In addition, each participant is asked to fundraise donations. We would appreciate whatever you can raise, no minimum required.

Here are a few ways to kick-start your fundraising and meet your personal goal:

1. Make a donation to yourself. Show your supporters that you are committed to the cause.

2. Create & share your personal WBW fundraising webpage, there are many free sites you can use to create this including GoFundMe and YouCaring.com. You can upload a photo of yourself, tell people why you are participating, and share your page with friends and family so they can donate to your campaign.

3. Ask your employer to match your donation.

4. Share what you are doing on Facebook or Twitter – social media is the 4th largest form of fundraising!
