Event description

Description

The debut of the Ha Ha Half-Marathon in 2018 is a fun run--no fees, no awards and no aid stations. Join us, we want to hear your thoughts on our course before the Ha Ha Half becomes a fully certified course in 2019! In 2019, we'll have awards, t-shirts, aid stations and everything you expect from a certified event.

Post-run, we'll provide pizzas, water and electrolytes at a reserved pavilion inside the park, lakeside. For anyone who's interested, we'll continue our conversation at a lakeside establishment. As you may know, there are plenty of nice options at the Lake of the Ozarks.

This is a beautiful course. Nearly all of it is single track trail. You'll encounter steps, 316 to be exact. In addition to sheer bluff views, you'll also experience ruins from a stone castle and other nearby structures, Missouri's 12th largest spring, sinkholes, caves, a huge natural bridge, wooded areas and open rocky glades. This trail half will not disappoint. It's beautiful and challenging!

Join us for the day, or make it a weekend!

Best,
Gary Braman, Scott L Page and John Shelby
Co-Race Directors, Ha Ha Half
