When & Where
GWHS Alumni Association
We Are Eagles For LIFE!
Founded in 1952, the GWHS Alumni Association's mission is to maintain Washington High's academic, athletic and extracurricular excellence as San Francisco's leading comprehensive public high school, enabling GW's students to reach their full potential at Washington and beyond by providing teachers the classroom tools they need to effectively provide a meaningful education.
To do this, we must engage ongoing support from alumni and community. Gifts from generous alumni enable us to bestow grants for classroom supplies and student activities unobtainable due to budget limitations. The Association also bestows over 20 scholarship awards and nine Principal's Cup awards.
We provide news about alumni, the school, reunions and related events to over 5,800 alumni members through our newsletter, emails and social media. We honor and celebrate extraordinarily accomplished alumni. We also accept artifact and ephemera donations to document and preserve our rich history in an archive we hope to display in a permanent location.
Visit our website and click the "Join-Donate-Buy" link to become a member and/or contribute, or contact us for info. We hope to see you at an Alumni event soon!
