Hi everybody! I'm Caroline and I'm an ambassador for
GWH Central Coast. For almost a year, I've served as an ambassador to the Los Angeles chapter. But, I'm gonna stay more local as I live in west Ventura County. Mu hosted hikes will be in Ventura, Santa Barbara and west Los Angeles counties -- including Malibu. For this meetup, we''ll be hiking out to Mishe Mokwa Trail to Sandstone Peak.
This is a ladies-only hike. As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending. It takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups.The first 10 members to arrive to the trailhead will receive a special GWH giveaway.
An Eventbrite ticket is required to attend this event
TOTAL DISTANCE: Roundtrip is 6.1 miles.
GWH TRAIL RATING: Yellow. It's a moderate hike, with an elevation gain of 1,656.. Novice hikers are welcome. No one will get left behind.
PETS: Dogs on leash are permitted. You must observe all park rules.

WHAT TO BRING: Water: Bring your own water, at least 2 liters, as it can be very hot and sunny on the trail. Snack: We will be taking a snack break. Ten essentials: As always, it a good idea to bring the 10 hiking essentials.
