Please join us for an informative and convenient course for ophthalmic medical personnel (OMP) to earn many JCAHPO CE credits, in our nation’s capital. We have a wide variety of lectures; something for everyone.

The Annual Course for allied ophthalmic personnel is a two - day program offering two full days of lectures, with the evening of May 5 reserved for hands-on workshops. The majority of lectures and workshops will be geared toward preparation for the national certification examinations given by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO). There will also be lectures of general interest to OMP.

This course has been submitted to JCAHPO for consideration of CE credits (Friday 8 A Credits, Friday evening 2 A Credits, and Saturday 8 A Credits for a total of 18 A Credits). Disclaimer: This course is not sponsored by JCAHPO, only reviewed for compliance with JCAHPO standards and criteria and not yet awarded continuing education credit; therefore, JCAHPO cannot predict the effectiveness of the program or assure its quality in substance and presentation.  Individuals are encouraged to obtain a copy of the JCAHPO booklet “Criteria for Certification.” Call JCAHPO: 800-284-3937 or visit for more information.
