Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con
brings together Tampa Bay’s oldest and biggest Maker festival, Gulf Coast MakerCon, produced by Eureka! Factory and celebrating the DIY Inventive Spirit since 2012, with Pinellas Comic & Maker Con, hosted by St. Petersburg College-Seminole Campus, one of the areas largest free public comic con events, to bring you the very best of both great events, completely FREE to attend!
Bring Your Eventbrite Tickets to Enter to Win Door Prizes!
While Gulf Coast Maker and Comic Con is completely free to attend and tickets aren't required for admission, Eventbrite ticket holders who bring their tickets to the event can enter those tickets in drawings for door prizes at the end of the day! We'll have cool CES gear from PLuGHiTz Live! Radio, #3D printed toys from Blossoms of the Heart, Ministry of Magic t-shirt and character ID from Tangible Labs , scrubbies and hand towel from All About the Stitches and much more!
To enter for door prizes, guests should bring their ticket copies at 3:45 to the Digitorium in the University Partnership building, where door prizes will be drawn around the time of the Costume Competition.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No unattended children are permitted at Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is free. You can get directions to St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus here . Bus information can be found here .
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring your own food and beverages, although there will also be onsite concessions and food trucks. No alchoholic beverages are permitted.
Costumes
Cosplay costumes are welcome but please remember this event is on the campus of St. Petersburg College and a family friendly event and costuming should be appropriate to the venue and spirit of the event. n keeping with Florida State public decency laws, we require that all attendees in costume dress appropriately for a family event, with coverage equivalent to at least a non-thong swimsuit . Event staff may, at their sole discretion, ask guests to change attire if guests are not in compliance with this policy, or to leave the premises.
Hoverboards, etc. are prohibited
Please note that recreational wheeled transport devices without handlebars (with or without motors) including skateboards, the devices known as hoverboards, uniwheels and all similar products are prohibited at Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con.
Weapons
No real weapons belonging to Exhibitors or Attendees are allowed at Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con. Prop weapons must be approved by inspection at the entrance. Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con reserves the right to refuse entry of any prop/weapon it deems unfit for any reason.
Any misuse of a prop/weapon (horseplay, dueling, fighting, running/swinging, firing, etc.) is grounds for removal and/or ejection from the event, as is any disruptive conduct of any kind.
What's the refund policy?
Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con is free to the public. There are several registration options for vendors and exhibitors. There are NO refunds for vendors, and the event will be held rain or shine.
