Guillaume Bottazzi creates a canvas 16m high for Brussels’ Place Jourdan
Guillaume Bottazzi will produce a painting 16 metres high and 7 metres wide sited at Place Jourdan. This monumental work will be on permanent on public view.
The desire of the artist to share leads him to install this outdoor workshop. The artist will paint alone from October 15th, during 1 or 2 month.
The visitors will be able to see the work in progress in front of them at any time!
This monumental painting will contribute to the attraction and visibility of the square.
This painting will be produced using brushes, with oil paints, permitting successive transparent overlays that will give depth to the colours.
During the project, an exhibition of recent works by the artist Guillaume Bottazzi will be held at the Artiscope gallery from October 3rd to November 26th 2016.
The general public are invited to visit the artist’s social media sites to follow the stages of production: https://www.facebook.com/bottazzi.guillaume
