About the instructor:
Mary Haling Jensen is the owner/therapist of In Touch Pediatric Therapy, PLLC. Known as "Molly" to friends, family and clients, Ms. Jensen is a graduate of Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, WI, and has served children with special needs and their families in Wisconsin, Utah and Washington States since 1986. Her background as an Occupational Therapist gives her a unique perspective on health and wellbeing related to our various “occupations”. Whether it is our role as parents, employees, students, mentors, or even how we care for ourselves, our physical and mental health impacts how we participate in the community we live. Contributing to the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network is a natural extension of her career and life work, and gives a voice to those that may not be heard.
Ms. Jensen and her husband met on the slopes of Snowbasin ski resort (Utah) and he proposed to her while sailing around the Hawaiian Islands. They have raised two daughters and hosted several exchange students from all over the world. The Jensen's have been Snoqualmie Valley residents since 1997 and their daughters have attended schools in Fall City and Snoqualmie. One is a recent graduate of SDSU and is choosing to stay in San Diego, while the other is living locally at Snoqualmie Pass.
