This tour
Come take a tour of the William Wallace National Monument in Stirling, Scotland. The monument is built to honour the memory of William Wallace, a national leader during the first Scottish War of Independence. You will hear about how he rose to lead Scotland, the battle of Stirling Bridge, and other men and women who helped build Scotland.
This tour will last up to 60 minutes and included the exterior and interior of the Wallace National Monument. The initial guided portion of the tour, led by Dr. Ross Kennedy from the University of Glasgow, will last 30-40 minutes followed by a 15 minute self-explore of the tour and ending with a final Q&A session. Each tour will be recorded and made accessible only to participants for a week after your tour.
This event will take place on Zoom on the 31st of May at 6:00 PM CST. At least 5% of our revenue from this event will be donated to My Academic Family, CIC, a new non-profit based in Glasgow, Scotland which supports first generation university students in achieving their academic goals.
