Connecticut Summer at the Museums is BACK!

Thanks to a generous grant from CT Humanities and the Connecticut Office of the Arts, beginning on July 1 (and running through September 3), we are able to offer FREE tours to all kids under 18 (and an adult with them).

You will still need to book your tours 24 hours in advance and tours are available on Friday and Saturday. The Ives tour begins AT the Ives home located at 5 Mountainville Avenue and requires SEPARATE TICKETS.

The Danbury Museum 43 Main Street campus is home to four historic buildings: the John & Mary Rider House (1785), the John Dodd Hat Shop (1790), the Little Red Schoolhouse, and the Marian Anderson Studio. For more details, visit our website!

All tours MUST be booked in advance, there are no walk-in tours The tours are roughly 1 hour long and are available on Friday and Saturday only at 12:30 pm.
