The historic buildings of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site are open May through October, Tuesday through Sunday. Guided tours of the Main House and Old Studio are offered on the hour during the hours listed below. Each tour is limited to twelve people and lasts approximately 50 minutes. Included with your ticket is admission to the New Studio and the special exhibition that is on view in the New Studio Gallery.

Guided Tour Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

10 am – 4 pm

Friday, Saturday and Sunday

10 am - 1 pm

Please note: On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there are no guided tours from 2 to 5 pm, but the historic buildings are open during those three hours for “Explore at Your Own Pace.”

Ticket Terms

Tickets are for a specific date and time. If you need to make changes to your reservation, you may transfer to another available date and time using this online system at least one day in advance. No changes or cancellations may be made on the day of your visit.

Online tickets must be purchased at least one day in advance of your visit. Tickets may also be purchased in the Visitor Center on the day of your visit.
