Meditation is quieting the chatter in your head in order to connect to the wisdom in your heart. It reduces stress and improves health. As human beings living our daily lives we are pushed and pulled in many directions. There are a multitude of demands on our time from our families, work, community and relationships. This class is an opportunity to slow down and disconnect from your “busy self” in order to connect to the wisdom of your “inner self”. Our class will focus on guided meditation. Guided meditation walks you thru the meditation process with soft music. This provides a focus that allows your brain to relax and detach from its normal busy state. Our group will also discuss dreams as a way that our sub-conscious communicates with us.
Darla, has been studying and practicing meditation for more than 20 years . For her, this has been an invaluable tool to reduce stress, access insights that may not been obvious at first glance and feel the connection between herself and the world.
