About this Event

Join the San Diego River Park Foundation for a guided hike through Eagle Peak Ranch, a 414 acre open space preserve! Hikers will explore the Pond Loop and Horizon Rock Trails. The Pond Loop Trail offers an easy 1.7 mile hike around the pond, through an oak woodland, and past Native American grinding stones. After a snack break, hikers will continue on to the 1.2 mile long Horizon Rock Trail that offers great views of the valley, San Diego River and Temescal Creek Gorge, Homestead Trail, and the surrounding mountains.
