Event Description: Shovel Point Trail begins at Tettegouche State Park, about 20 miles south of Bluefin Bay. Shovel Point runs through an area supporting three different microclimates with unique terrain formed by ancient lava flows.
Need to Know: Dress for the weather! Plan to be outside for about 2 hours.
Location: Meet at Bluefin Bay Guest Services
Distance: 1.4 miles roundtrip
Level of Difficulty: Easy, but note that there are stairs
Ages: 6+, but anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We are unable to put car seats in our shuttle vehicle so any families with kiddos under 8 years old will need to drive separately.
