Event Details

GUEST are delighted to offer interior crew and chefs three professional workshops showcasing Luxury Hospitality and Service training in an insightful and educational environment, delivered by our GUEST approved Professional Trainers from around the world.

Taking place at the restaurant Mozza, a 15-minute walk from the port of Monaco, from 15.00 to 16.00, join us for an interesting journey into the world of table decorations. Taking you away from  the more traditional tablesetting themes, this workskop will demonstrate some fun and showstopping techniques to wow your guests.  Providing you with simple little tricks that look great and take no time to do. This is the perfect precursor to our GUEST Tablesetting Competition which will take place on Wednesday 27th Spetember and is open to all yachts in the show and at anchor in Monaco.

Open to Interior crew of all levels.

Registration is required for this free workshop and spaces are limited. If you cannot attend please be sure to cancel as far ahead as possible to allow other people the opportunity to attend. Please arrive 10 minutes before the beginning of the session to allow time for registration.

About your trainers

Lynne Edwards

Having first completed an HND in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management in Oxford, Lynne has since gained more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ten of which were served aboard luxury motor yachts and a further twenty in other yacht-related and villa management sectors. Lynne has extensive practical experience in all aspects of interior management, including departmental budgets, work rotas, acquisitions as well as supplier and staff management. Between 1996 and 2014, Lynne’s skills were extended through various relevant training courses, including a Professional Training Certificate, the Levels 2 and 3 Awards in Food Safety in Catering as well as working in villa concierge/management and villa representation in the Alpes Maritimes, dealing mainly with very discerning, wealthy international clients at the top end of the luxury rental market.

Lynne is part of the GUEST steering committee and a PYA Council Member, to assist with the representation of the Interior Department, and is also a PYA GUEST approved Trainer.

Kim Woodey

Kim has over nine years’ experience working on board large motor yachts, cruising both well-known and far-flung regions of the world.
