Guerrilla Data Analysis Techniques (GDAT) is your 5-day fast track to enterprise performance and capacity management using R statistical tools with Dr. Neil Gunther, the author of Guerrilla Capacity Planning (Springer 2007). Since the class size is limited, you get highly personalized tuition. If you don't understand something or have a lot of questions, we all get to learn more thoroughly.
What's the purpose of GDAT? You already understand the essential concepts of computer system performance and capacity management (e.g., Level II certification). You're also monitoring and collecting cubic light years of performance data. But raw performance data is not the same thing as performance information. To extract the right information you need to transform your data and that's precisely what this class teaches you to do. Moreover, the data analysis techniques we present are general purpose, and therefore not tied to any particular computing platform or data collection tools.
