GSU's Conference on Scholarly Teaching focuses on pedagogical techniques, hybrid teaching, technological teaching practices, collaborative teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
This year, in honor of the GSU and Perimeter College merger, our theme is “Merging Communities.”
We will have 4 tracks within that theme. Please submit a proposal related to one of these tracks.
• Merging research with teaching: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
• Merging methods blending traditional teaching methods with technology and active learning techniques
• Merging with the City: Service Learning/Teaching, Community-based Pedagogy, and Atlanta Studies
• Merging Cultures and Ideas: Working with non-traditional, non-native, and diverse communities
Faculty, Graduate Teaching Assistants, Lab Assistants, and Program Administrators from across the University System of Georgia are invited to participate.
We are currently accepting proposals for individual presentations, panel presentations, and poster presentations.
A free catered breakfast and lunch will be provided. We will be running concurrent sessions throughout the day. Registration is open until we have 200 registrants or until May 1, 2017.
