Come and network with colleagues, classmates, and alums. Four GSLIS West Alums will join us for a Q&A to discuss their experience here at GSLIS West and share career search tips and tricks that they learned as graduates searching for their first job post. They will also offer insight from the other side of the interview table and what they look for in applicants. We will also be joined by Kelly Woodside, BiblioTemps Manager, who will discuss how to gain valuable library experience by becoming a library temp.
We will conclude the afternoon with a resume workshop. Bring a copy (or 5) of your current resume and any cover letters you are working on and have them looked over by the professionals.
