Event description

Description

Stanford GSB will facilitate group ticket sales, but you are responsible for your own transportation

The New York Times Critics’ Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story set in the week following the September 11 attacks and of what transpired when 38 planes were ordered to land unexpectedly in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada as part of Operation Yellow Ribbon. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.

At the 71st Tony Awards, it was nominated for 7 awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Book of a Musical and Best Featured Actress in a Musical, ultimately winning for Best Direction of a Musical for Christopher Ashley. It won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Broadway Musical.

What is a "guaranteed seat" versus a "standby seat"?

We have a limited number of tickets we've already reserved. Once the guaranteed seats sell out, you can purchase a "standby seat". This means that we will contact the theatre to book another seat on your behalf. If we are unable to do so, we will refund your money.
