Sing in the Christmas season at the PE G&S Society’s annual carols evening on Wednesday 7th December, 7.00pm at the Savoy Theatre. Join us for a great evening of sing-along carols, special guests and Christmas cheer with table seating so you can bring along a picnic basket and enjoy all the fun with the whole family.
This year our special guests include the Maranatha Children’s Home Choir, the Happy Echoes and our own Savoy Singers plus some amazing soloists from the G&S family including Liske Potgieter, Zoe Gray, Cathy & Hug from Blast from the Past, plus Rose Cowpar’s rousing 12 days of Christmas South African style. All this plus your favourite sing along carols.
Entry is just R20 per person or R60 for a family (2 adults and 2 children) at the door on the night or you can pre-book your seats for R30 p.p. or R80 for a family ticket. Your entry includes your carols song sheet.
We encourage all carollers to share the Christmas joy and bring along toys, clothing or food items for the Maranatha Children’s Home. Maranatha’s Mission is to create opportunities for children and adults to restore their broken lives and give them hope for the future. Established in 2002, Maranatha addresses the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of Port Elizabeth’s homeless and unemployed (particularly street-children and children at risk), challenging individuals to take responsibility for their lives and become self-sustaining.
The Savoy Theatre has a fully stocked Bar and Coffee bar for your convenience. Call Rose on 072 906 1977 for any enquiries or to pre-book your seats.
