PRIDE MONTH IS FINALLY HERE and we’re kicking y’all off with the dopest dance party lineup! DJ Keezy will be dropping the beats in the main room and newcomer, DJ La Nena, will be spreading the vibes back in the Mission Room. The patios will be warm and the cold drinks will be tasty. Start stretching cause it’s gonna be an epic month of dancing!

The Aliveness Project is a community center for and driven by people living with HIV. For over 30 years, they have been facilitating connection to the community, offering nutrition & wellness services, and linking its members to resources to lead fulfilling & healthy lives.
The Aliveness Project will be joining GRRRL SCOUT this month providing free HIV testing onsite during our event (9:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.). Testers will receive (1) free ticket to either GS PRIDE SUMMER CAMP or GS PRIDE STOPLIGHT PARTY in exchange (while supplies last)! What a deal?! Safety and Freebies! Please help keep our communities safe by getting regular STI and HIV testing.

Transportation/Parking: The Hook and Ladder is conveniently located near the Metro Blue Line (https://www.metrotransit.org/metro-blue-line) and is easily accessible via several Metro transit bus routes. There is free parking available (on a first-come-first-serve basis) within the north parking lot (behind the Hook and Ladder) as well as on the adjacent city streets. We recommend traveling within a group if utilizing any public transit options. Other rideshare options available via Lyft, Uber, etc.
Grrrl Scout events are created for queer folx (meaning, but not limited to all people that identify within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella) and their allies.
