Description

Please join us for this special presentation and networking session with Stephen Phillips, Director-General at Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) to learn how US growth-stage companies can capitalize on opportunities that are available in Asia, using Hong Kong as a key business hub.

With its enduring commercial advantages, Hong Kong’s legendary spirit of enterprise and its boundless energy create the perfect environment for starting and growing a business. Growth-stage companies will be supported by a strong network of incubators and accelerators, a pool of experienced angels and venture capitalists, a host of government backed programs and a welcoming community of startups connected through networking events, seminars and associations.

Stephen will provide an overview of Hong Kong's startup ecosystem and how to leverage Hong Kong for business opportunities in the Greater Bay Area - a government initiative that aims to create an integrated economic and business hub between Hong Kong, Macau and and nine cities in Mainland China encompassing over 68 million people. In addition, he will speak about the newly launched Hong Kong Talent List which seeks to attract experienced professionals from abroad in areas such as fintech, data science, cybersecurity, digital entertainment, AI, robotics, and distributed ledger technologies.

We have partnered with Lair East Labs, a pioneering accelerator for startups building bridges between the US and Asia; and the Hong Kong Association of New York, which focuses in promoting business relationships between Hong Kong and New York City.
