The next Growth Hacking Breakfast will be at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Kendall Square at 8 am on Friday December 9th 2016 with the founder of Strategic Speaking and the Executive Producer of TEDxCambridge Tamsen Webster!

About the Presentation
In a world of where written, and even audio, content is reaching a saturation point, what’s left? How can your message not only rise above the noise, but truly connect with your customers? Speaking. In-person events. Webinars. The challenge, of course, is that while people love to buy, they hate being sold to — and word gets around fast if you start “selling from the stage.” In this session, learn from a veteran marketer — and Executive Producer of the second-largest TEDx event in the world — how you can overcome audience resistance (and your own) to make the most of content’s last frontier.
In this session you will learn:
The most common mistakes marketing presenters make and, more importantly, how to correct for them
How and where speaking belongs in the marketing funnel
Simple tools for choosing the best topics, structuring your talk to sell, and capturing leads, as well as do’s and don’ts for delivery
About the Speaker
Part "idea whisperer," part message strategist, and part presentation coach, Tamsen Webster helps people and organizations like Verizon, State Street Bank, Ericsson, Johnson & Johnson, and Disney find and communicate the power of their ideas. She is the Executive Producer of TEDxCambridge, one of the oldest and largest locally organized “TED talk” events in the world and the CEO and founder of Strategic Speaking, a presentation strategy company. In former lives, she worked in both agencies and at nonprofits heading up brand, marketing, and fundraising communication strategy, along with a brief but enduring turn as a change management consultant. She was a reluctant marathoner...twice; is a winning ballroom dancer (in her mind), and everything she knows about people, speaking, and change, she learned at Weight Watchers. True story.
