For 4 years, the University of South Alabama Gulf Coast Behavioral Health and Resiliency Center, the University of West Florida, the USA Center for Generational Studies, and the Via Health, Fitness and Enrichment Center have partnered to bring the community an amazing learning experience.

Join us as hundreds of older adults from a 3-county area come together for Resiliency for Life! This year’s conference features a special keynote address, “Disrupting Aging,” by AARP Alabama Associate State Director - Community Outreach Dorothy C. Dorton and panel discussion. Specialized break-out sessions on health and resiliency: Technology, Future of Aging, Positive Effects of/Caring for Pets, Intergenerational Cooking and Nutrition, Container Gardening, Gratefulness. All break out sessions are offered three times.

This event is free and open to the public. Please invite your church, civic groups and/or other organization.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, door prizes and conference good bags provided.
