The San Diego Foundation presents:
Growing Resilience in Our Community
Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope
A Documentary Screening & Resource Fair
Childhood trauma doesn’t end in childhood. Its effects ripple through adulthood unless young people are taught how to cope. Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope explores the emerging science of toxic stress on children and offers innovative solutions for helping vulnerable young people become thriving adults.
Join The San Diego Foundation, County of San Diego, South Bay Youth Coalition and our partners for a special screening of Jamie Redford’s Sundance-debuted film Resilience. Find out from regional experts, educators, and service providers how to help build resilience in our community to create bright futures for generations to come.
