Please join Ohio Nut Growers member Joe Hietter, Hietter’s Nuts & Horses and Bob Stehli, Wintergreen Tree Farm to learn about growing heartnuts – the heart-shaped member of the walnut family. Joe and Bob have been growing nuts in Ohio for several decades. This will be a wonderful opportunity to bring your nut growing questions to ONGA members. Heartnut seedlings will be available through the 2023 Portage SWCD Tree Sale. Heartnut seedlings are available on our website (www.portageswcd.org), check them out as well as all our other native trees and shrubs for sale.
