Early Years Voice - Gympie Region invites you to our
Growing Great Kids Forum
Did you know the latest Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) found that 30% of children in the Cooloola community (which encompasses the Gympie region) are vulnerable in one or more developmental domains? In some parts of our region, this figure is as high as 43% of children. Before you come to the forum, could you think about this data and what it means for our community now and into the future?
We would like you to consider two questions:
What’s important to you about this?
Why do you care?
This forum is about collective action planning to better serve our region's children and families. Abbie Grant-Taylor will facilitate world café style conversations where you will have the opportunity to discover the possibilities that will improve the lives of children in our community. You will also hear more about the community’s AEDC findings, results of family surveys and our children’s ‘voices.’
Together we can provide better outcomes for children in the Gympie region —where all children can have every chance to thrive!
