Overview
Learn about growing and cooking with common herbs.
This class will provide an overview of common herbs grown in Central Florida and best practices for growing. Participants will also discover how they can be used in many dishes and cuisines at home. In addition best practices on how to extended the shelf life of these herbs will be discussed. Participants will be able to create 2 sample spice blends and 2 tea bags to take home and plant herb seeds to start an herb garden for their home. In addition participants will recieve an educational booklet.
