Growing a Healthy Lawn and Garden
Sun, April 23, 2017, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM PDT
Healthy soil is the key to a vibrant and robust lawn and garden. Learn what makes soil work for your plants and how to improve it to save water, reduce maintenance and keep your plants growing stress-free. We will also explore the best lawn choices for the Pacific Northwest and how to manage weeds in your lawn naturally. Some class time will be spent outdoors examining soils and trying out new lawn care practices.
This class will have an outdoor, hands-on component. Tools and materials will be provided. Please dress for the weather and be ready to get your hands dirty!
