Grow with Us- Made in the Shade: Great Gardens in Lower Light (Virtual)

Thursday, March 5, 2026

6:00 PM

This is an ONLINE SEMINAR via ZOOM, presented by our Extension Master Gardener volunteers. The same program will be presented in-person at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library in Greensboro, NC on a different date. Click here to view the information and register for the in-person session.

An abundance of large trees and shady areas in the yard is an exciting challenge to the creative gardener, not an obstacle. Gardening in the shade can be very rewarding! We’ll discuss a variety of shrubs, annuals, perennials, and woodland plants that will brighten and add color to your cool shady retreat.

The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please register to reserve the Zoom link.

This session will not be recorded. A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be made available to registrants via the email address provided in a reminder email 24 hours before the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.

If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu). Thank you for your interest in our "Grow with Us" programming!
