About this event
There is no mistaking the chill in the air that says autumn is here! Black Girls With Green Thumbs is dedicating the month of October to children's wellness.
As the seasons change, it can sometimes create imbalance but practicing yoga can be supportive through that transition.
Parents, your children are invited to the West Oak Lane Library afterschool to unwind and calm their minds with beginner's children yoga. This yoga series will focus on change and relaxation.
Through movement, meditation, and freshly brewed herbal tea from the WOL Library Garden, children will learn to care for themselves and others through this meaningful yoga practice.
While yoga is a personal practice, it can also be filled with community.
Weather permitting, all yoga classes will be held outdoors in the West Oak Lane Garden/Atrium
- Yoga mats provided
- Lite refreshments
- Freshly brewed herbal tea
Open to school age children from West Oak Lane and the surrounding areas.
