Overview

This training is designed for practitioners who spend time with people (adults, children or both) in group settings or on a 1-2-1 basis

This full-day Group B Safeguarding training is designed for practitioners who spend time with people (adults, children or both) either in group settings or on a one-to-one basis. Delivered by an experienced trainer, the session will build your confidence and knowledge in recognising, responding to, and preventing abuse, harm, or neglect. Through interactive learning and practical discussion, you will explore the legislation, policies, and professional responsibilities that underpin safeguarding practice, and develop the skills needed to play your part in protecting individuals and promoting their rights.

Jon Trew is a highly experienced safeguarding trainer and consultant based in Wales with a wealth of hands-on and strategic experience working both with children and adults at risk. Jon has worked with preschool children as well as young people leaving care, children with disabilities and adults who are victims of crime.
