7-Day Guatemala Adventure: Volcanoes, Vibes & the Power of Movement

📍Arrival: Guatemala City → Antigua | Day 1

Welcome to the beginning of something epic!

Meet your adventure family at Guatemala City Airport before we make our way to the charming colonial town of Antigua. After checking into our boutique hotel, we’ll gather for a welcome lunch filled with bold flavors, warm intros, and an overview of the transformative week ahead. We’ll take a short group shakeout run. The evening is ours to explore cobblestone streets, sip local coffee, shop artisanal markets, and soak in the magic of Antigua by twilight.

🌋Pacaya Volcano Hike + Lava-Cooked Pizza | Day 2

Adventure with a side of fire-roasted pizza.

After breakfast, we head to Pacaya Guatemala’s most accessible active volcano for a scenic half-day hike. Walk through moon-like lava fields and feel the heat beneath your feet. At the top, we’ll gather around hot volcanic vents to bake our own pizzas in lava rock ovens. It’s a one-of-a-kind lunch you’ll never forget. Return to Antigua for a laid-back afternoon and optional local dinner.

🏕️Acatenango Volcano Trek & Camp | Day 3

Ready to climb? We rise to the challenge, literally.

Early morning departure for Acatenango, one of Guatemala’s most iconic volcanoes. Begin the ascent through cloud forest terrain with views that grow more breathtaking with each step. By afternoon, we’ll set up camp above the clouds, overlooking the glowing eruptions of nearby Fuego Volcano. Cozy up with a warm dinner and bond around the fire under a sky full of stars.

🌄 Sunrise Summit + Recovery | Day 4Summit. Descend. Heal.

Wake before dawn to summit Acatenango and witness a sunrise you’ll never forget. After taking in the majesty from the peak, we begin our descent. Back in Antigua, we’ll ease our bodies with massages, ice baths, and active recovery. The evening is chill and restful after a delicious group meal.

🚐Transfer to Lake Atitlán + Lakeside Movement | Day 5

From fire to water, we shift our element.

Road trip to Lake Atitlán, a high-altitude lake surrounded by volcanoes and Mayan villages. Once we arrive and check into our lakeside hotel, we’ll move together with a lakeside jog, shakeout flow, and then dive into play: kayaking, swimming, and optional cliff diving. Evening group dinner and hot tub recovery session under the stars.

🌞Full Lake Day + Connection | Day 6

Movement meets mindfulness.

Ease into the day with a guided group breathing or light yoga session on the dock. Then spend the day as you wish: lounge by the lake, explore nearby villages by boat, hike hidden paths, and sunset dinner by the fire to close it out.

✈️Departure Day | Day 7

Goodbyes, but never the end.

Early breakfast and shuttle back to Guatemala City airport. Depart with new strength, wild stories, and a tribe that pushed through the extraordinary with you.

Exclusions: Roundtrip flight to Guatemala City, gratuities and tips, alcoholic beverages, single room supplemental fee. Travel insurance.

*We will be camping at the Basecamp of dormant volcano Acatenango for 1 night.
