Grief shows up in many forms — through endings, unmet expectations, or shifts in identity and connection. In this session, guided breathwork and gentle reflective inquiry will support you in acknowledging what feels heavy and creating space for release. After your breathwork journey, sound healing offered by Virginia and Mahtaab will help regulate the nervous system, followed by Reiki from Lindy Morrow to provide soft energetic support to complement your inner process.
No prior experience is needed — just bring an open mind, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to explore what’s ready to be released.

- Pregnancy (due to deep diaphragmatic breathing effects)

I’m Virginia Wilcsek, a licensed therapist and certified breathwork practitioner with experience in trauma-informed and somatic healing. I help individuals regulate their nervous system, process stored trauma, and build emotional resilience through guided breathwork and evidence-based practices. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for self-exploration, personal growth, and transformation.
We’re honored to welcome Mahtaab Khanjari, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as co-host of this workshop. Mahtaab brings clinical expertise and a grounded presence to guide participants through shadow work and breathwork, supporting deeper self-awareness and transformation.
We’re honored to welcome special guest Reiki Practitioner, Lindy Morrow, who will be offering gentle, grounding energy work throughout the session. Her presence adds another layer of support, helping participants settle more deeply into their process of release and renewal. Through Reiki, she invites a sense of balance and calm, complementing the breathwork experience and encouraging a steady connection between body, mind, and emotion.
Together, we’re here to hold space for your journey, offering guidance, tools, and support as you embrace your authentic self and unlock the transformative potential of this practice.
After a breathwork session focused, participants often experience:

Welcome & Intention Setting
Tonight, we’ll open our circle by gently grounding into the heart of grief—what it is, why it matters, and the many ways it can show up in our everyday lives. We’ll provide an open, supportive space to get to know conscious connected breathing and to explore grief in all its forms. You’ll be invited to reflect on how grief has touched your life and how it can be stored in the body, before setting a personal intention for your journey. We’ll move through simple writing prompts to help you gently uncover the parts of yourself that are ready to be seen, softened, and released.
Conscious Connected Breathwork
As we begin, we’ll move into conscious connected breathwork—using continuous, anchored breathing to open space for emotional release, unburdening, and reconnection with yourself. Journey inward through a 30-minute breathwork experience to feel, release, and meet the parts of yourself shaped by grief in a supportive container.
Sound Healing + Reiki Energy Work
We’ll transition into sound healing and Reiki to help bring balance to your nervous system and gently support your integration. The combination of vibration and energetic support creates space for your body to unwind, settle, and absorb the work you’ve done.
