Event Details

Launched in 2017, the GRI Reporters’ Summit was created as a learning symposium for practitioners to increase knowledge sharing and collaboration among North American-based reporting organizations. The Summit is not a conference – we aim to provide specific, tangible guidance and tools to allow reporting organizations to improve their reporting and better understand trends in sustainability topic disclosure.

We want to keep things fresh and therefore in 2020 we will have two half-day sessions for individuals to choose from: 6 February 2020 in Phoenix (to coincide with GreenBiz20) and 16 June 2020 in Washington, DC. We hope that these shorter, more local events will allow greater flexibility for attendees’ busy schedules.

Join us in Washington, DC, for the East Summit on 16 June to boost your knowledge and connections in the fast-moving sustainability reporting field. Learn more about the new GRI Standards on Tax and Waste & Circularity. We will also cover supply chain disclosures and changes in policy and regulation.

The Summit is specifically for professionals who are responsible for sustainability reporting within their organization.
Due to limited room size, only consultants that are members of our GRI Community membership program may attend.

The GRI Reporters' Summit - East will be held at ASU’s Barrett & O’Connor Washington Center in Washington DC.

The Barrett & O’Connor Washington Center is most easily accessible via the Farragut West metro station – 18th Street exit (blue, orange and silver lines). Upon exiting the station, the facility will be on the corner behind you at 18th and I. For those driving, street parking is very limited in the Farragut Square neighborhood. If you cannot find a metered spot, there are several local parking garages in the area.
