Greenthumb Restoration Volunteers
Volunteer to assist the San Bernardino National Forest Native Plant Nursery and Restoration Program. Work includes seed collection, native plant propagation, noxious weed removal, out planting and general restoration practices on the forest. No experience necessary and all age groups are welcome. Bring hat, sunscreen, water and a sack lunch. Dress appropriately in closed toe shoes and long pants.
Lytle Creek Volunteer Days
Meet at the Lytle Creek Ranger Station @ 9am. From there we will caravan to work sites on the forest or to the Lytle Creek Native Plant Nursery. Forest work sites will be on unpaved, rocky forest roads.
Big Bear Volunteer Days
Meet at the Big Bear Discovery Center @ 9am. From there we will caravan to work sites on the forest or to the Big Bear Native Plant Nursery. Forest work sites will be on unpaved, rocky forest roads.
