Our speakers for this workshop will be:

Jenna Fletcher, The Trust for Public Land: Jenna is the GSC Advisor for this best practice. She will discuss the many benefits of parks, including economic, health, and ecological benefits.

Cathy Jordan, Children and Nature Network: Cathy is a pediatric neuropsychologist by training and is an associate professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. She will discuss the benefits of nature play for children and explain the Cities Connecting Children to Nature project.

This workshop is part of the 2016-2017 GreenStep Cities Workshop Series. Keep an eye out for more information about upcoming sessions and topics! The workshops are held on the first Wednesday of every month, from 9-11am at the League of Minnesota Cities. Coffee and light refreshments will be served at each workshop.
