MASTERY OF ASANA - MASTERY MODULE IN NAPLES, FLORIDA - NOVEMBER 2-6, 2016
PART OF THE greenmonkey 300-HOUR MASTERY MODULE SERIES
This comprehensive training will focus on traditional yoga asana. You will move beyond the basics, deepen your knowledge, and develop your capacity to see the individual in the pose. You will receive specific tools that are applicable for Vinyasa, Slow Flow Restorative, Hatha, and Gentle classes.
Content will cover:
- Alignment, modifications, and use of props
- Verbal and hands-on assists
- Sequencing with intention
- Body mechanics
- Body structure as it affects specific asana
- Structure of a class with an opening, middle, and close
- Creating atmosphere to support the asana
- Using your voice as a teaching tool
You will receive 50 contact hours toward your 300-Hour Teacher Training Certification/Yoga Alliance RYT 500. You do not have to be enrolled in the 300 hour Teacher Training Program in order to attend this training. The 300-Hour Teacher Training Certification Program is specifically designed to empower you while connecting and building community and will give you access to unleash your gifts as a teacher!
Mastery of Asana Tuition: $995
Daily sessions from Wednesday, November 2, through Sunday, November 6 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Please bring: yoga mat, towel, water bottle, snacks/meals and 2 changes of yoga clothes per day, a notebook, pen and highlighter.
Are meals, lodging, or travel included in tuition?
This is a non-residential program. Tuition for this program does not include travel, lodging, or meals.
What do I need to bring for the sessions?
What to Bring (list may not be inclusive):
- A yoga mat, strap, and block
- Journal & Pen
- Refillable water bottle, gatorade or other electrolyte replenisher
- Plenty of yoga clothes
- Snacks and whatever you need to get you through a full day of program
- Towels or yogi toes
- Please leave valuables in your car or hotel room, or bring only what you need. While we will provide a storage area for your bags, please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
What are my parking options at the Naples studio?
What dining/grocery shoping options are available near the studio?
greenmonkey studio is located within walking distance from many dining options. Participants are responsible for their own meals and snacks throughout the weekend. We recommend that you bring plenty of snacks, a refillable water bottle, and an electrolyte replenisher with you each day. Our lunch breaks will vary in times, so it may be best to bring a lunch with you.
Whole Foods market is 2.9 miles from the studio, and Trader Joe's is 4.7 miles from the studio. Waterside Shops has some restaurant options, as well as a Starbucks, and it is about a half-mile away, walking distance and across the street from the studio.

What else do I need to know?
You are responsible for maintaining a healthy level of hydration throughout the training. We encourage you to take in adequate fluid and electrolyte levels each day throughout the program as you will be continuously sweating and losing fluids throughout asana practice. Please note: Bring a sufficient amount of electrolyte powder with you to maintain healthy levels of hydration.

Full tuition is due at time of registration and purchase.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
If a participant cancels at least 6 weeks prior to the start date of the Program, he or she will receive a refund of all tuition monies paid as of such cancellation date, less the $100 non-refundable application fee and $400 non-refundable deposit. If a participant cancels prior to the start of the Program but within 6 weeks of the start of the Program, he or she will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition monies paid; however, he or she will receive a credit to be used towards a future GM training program equal to 100% of all tuition monies paid as of such cancellation date, less the $100 non-refundable application fee. If a participant cancels on or following the start date of the Program, he or she will not be entitled to a refund of any tuition monies paid; however, he or she will receive a credit to be used towards a future GM training program equal to 50% of the pro-rata unused portion of tuition monies paid as of such cancellation date, less the $100 non-refundable application fee. Any tuition credit received shall expire 12 months from the date of issue.
greenmonkey reserves the right to cancel a Program at any time. If greenmonkey cancels the Program, a full refund or credit towards a future Program will be issued.

We highly recommend purchasing travel and event insurance to protect yourself and your investment in the event you choose to cancel for any reason.
