Description
Greenfingers: Habitat Restoration at McClellan Ranch Preserve
Help us restore a grassland meadow ecosytem and provide habitat for native wildlife at McClellan Ranch Preserve! Volunteers should expect to remove non-native species, plant native plants, bask in the sun and admire wildflowers blooming all year round. This event is rain or shine, unless otherwise notified.
Waivers/Registration: All participants must register & approve the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf. Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking: Parking is available at the preserve. Nearest overflow parking can be found on Club House Ln on the street.
Meeting Space: We meet at the sundial located on the edge of the meadow
Prepare for Working Outdoors:

Long pants, long sleeves

Sturdy close-toed shoes that can get dirty

Hat/sunscreen or rain gear/boots

Plan for exposure to sun and potential exposure to ticks
We will provide gloves, tools, and some snacks.
