Event description

Description

On May 6th, Belltown community members and Seattle 2030 District members will be able to tour neighborhood sites including Bell Street Park, Vine Street Steps, Battery Tunnel portal, and future intersections with the Waterfront project, answering the question, “how can green stormwater infrastructure help urban neighborhoods thrive?” Tour leaders will meet participants at Benaroya Hall and we will walk together to the first tour stop. This is the first in a three-part series to develop a community plan for managing 50% of the stormwater from Belltown.

Update:
We will be meeting on the northeast side of Benaroya (University Ave) - look for bright CNU signs. Please dress for the weather and plan to meet us at 9:00 sharp. Registered participants will be recieveing more details via eamil.

The District will use the input from these workshops to move towards this stormwater goal. These conversations parallel and intersect with other visioning efforts in the community.
