Got Green's Women in the Green Economy Project is hosting a community event to release the survey findings to the public and reveal what the green economy means to the women living in Southeast Seattle. The new green economy should mean that all communities have access to good paying green jobs, money to buy healthy foods, healthy homes that are efficient and free of toxins, and affordable public transportation. Join us for a free and delicious lunch, exciting speakers, and table discussions.
When & Where
Founded in 2008 with sponsorship from the White Center Community Development Association, Got Green leads community organizing efforts, public policy advocacy, and job training programs to ensure that the benefits of the new, green economy –green jobs, access to healthy food, energy efficient homes, and public transit – are widely available to low income communities of color.
