The Urban Horticulture Program is proud to launch Green Talks, a monthly speaker series bringing together experts, educators, and plant enthusiasts to share fresh ideas on plants, sustainability, and urban nature. This is open to the public - registration is required through Eventbrite

Learn about the invasive Spotted Lanternfly, a serious pest causing damage to trees and plants in other states, and may threaten Florida. Dr. Prade will share how to recognize this pest, why it poses a threat and practical steps homeowners and gardeners can take to monitor, report sightings and help protect our landscape.
