Event description

Description

Green Living Lab is a new workshop series at Bluegrass Greensource, presented by WUKY, where staff present short, engaging workshops to help you build new skills and learn more about topics to live more sustainably. From gardening to green cleaners at home, Green Living Lab offers something for everyone!

Saturday, April 29th, join Bluegrass Greensource Outreach Specialist Rob Gates for special edition of Green Living Lab! Cache In, Trash Out is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community, where geocachers around the globe will gather together during the weeks of April 22-30 and September 17 – 25 2016 to pick up trash, remove invasive species, repair trails and more—plus earn a few new souvenirs!

About Geocaching:
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. At Cache In, Trash Out, participants pick up litter while they are searching for the hidden caches.

This event is free, but RSVP is encouraged!

We'll be announcing even more learning opportunities throughout 2017. Be sure to subscribe to our eNews and follow us on Facebook to stay in the know!
