Green Industry Best Management Practices Certification
Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
This workshop is designed to provide training in Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMPs) for anyone working in the lawn, landscape, pest control, or municipal grounds areas. At the end of this training, you will be given a post-test to determine knowledge learned. If the post-test is successfully completed, you will be mailed a Green Industries BMP certificate of completion. Pesticide Applicator CEUs given at the end of class.
Certification offered by UF/ IFAS is voluntary; although mandatory by some cities and counties. Beginning January 1, 2014, any person applying commercial fertilizer for hire to an urban landscape must be certified through this program and incur a fee.

1:40-2:30 Pesticide BMPs
2:45-3:15 Post-Test and CEUs
