Event description

Description

There is no need to pull out your rubber gloves and surgical masks when you clean your home. It might surprise you to know that you can concoct simple and inexpensive non-toxic cleaners from ingredients already lying around your house including essential oils.

Many essential oils have demonstrated the ability to inhibit or kill various types of bacteria, mold spores, and even viruses. These disinfectant properties of essential oils make them a natural substitute for the harsh chemicals used in many commercial cleaners. Essential oils can also work as natural deodorizers, without the artificial fragrances used in some products.

Come join Carolyn Marotta, NTP and Wellness Advocate as well as Beth Mathews RN BSN HNC-BC Board Certified Holistic Nurse & a wellness educator for this fun, hands-on DIY make & take class where you will learn how to use essential oils to create your own cleaning sprays that are not only safe on the environment, but safe for your family as well.

You will make an all purpose cleaner to take home & will receive all the recipes to make all of the green cleaners & labels! ($5 investment to cover supplies)

Upon registration, either Beth or Carolyn will call/text/email you to understand your wellness needs to customize an essential oils care package for you. We will send you your care package before the class so you have time to experience the oils before we meet!

“If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ve experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They can be both beautifully and powerfully fragrant. Essential oils give plants their distinctive smells, essential oils protect plants and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and their beautiful fragrance, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.

Essential oils can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. They can be used as single essential oils or in complex essential oil blends depending on user experience and desired benefit. Want to learn how to use essential oils? Visit our essential oils usage page to learn how to safely use doTERRA essential oils. ” Source
