Event description
In celebration of the ACS GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable’s 15th Anniversary, we welcome you to attend this special symposium.

About this Event

Over the last 20 years, the concept of green chemistry has made its mark on the pharmaceutical industry leading to numerous advances applied across all stages of pharma including discovery, development and commercialization. While green chemistry thinking has spurred numerous chemical innovations, there are a multitude of new technologies, not originally developed with green chemistry in mind, that are being exploited in pharmaceutical industry to great success which improve the overall environmental footprint of the pharmaceutical industry. This symposium aims to explore the role of such newer technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, miniaturization and automation as well as cutting-edge chemistry and biocatalysis throughout drug discovery and development.
