Description

The Community Involvement Team at Basildon Council are offering free community funding training to anyone working for a Voluntary and Community Sector Organisation, delivering in Basildon. This includes charities, academies, community associations and their employees and volunteers.


Green but Keen” (suitable for anyone new to the sector, or those wanting to refresh knowledge) will cover the following topics;

  • Introduction to the sector
  • Crowdfunding/crowdsourcing
  • Better social media
  • Briefs on funding, gift aid/tax relief and more

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There are no ID requirements. No participants under the age of 16. Participants under 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You can park in the Basildon Centre underground carpark free of charge. This is located along the Westgate road, which is accessable via Great Oaks or Broadgate. Delegates arriving on foot or by public transport, will be required to approach the Basildon Centre and ring the buzzer to the left of the revolving doors, for security to admit them.
