Event description

Description

Join the CWRU Office for Sustainaiblity to learn more about how we can be advoctes for our own parks.

The Trust for Public Land rates city's parks and Cleveland's ParkScore was a 45 out of 100. Find the score details on their website. We ranked well in basketball hoops, but not no good in dog parks.

Learn from the Trust for Public Land how you can help your municipality decide how park funding is spent. Climate-Smart Cities program can help you be an advocate for your favorite park. Speakers will include:

> Matt Schmidt, Prgoram Director at the Trust for Public Land

> Shanelle Smith, current MBA student at CWRU and State Director at the Trust for Public Land

A question and answer session will conclude the presentation.

Desserts and coffee will be provided by the CWRU Office for Sustainaiblity. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lunch to eat during the talk.

Find presentations from past Green Bag Lunches on the CWRU Office for Sustainability website. This presentation will be available after the event as well.
