Event description

Description

Home Works is a new quarterly seminar series on condominium and homeowner association living, building and property management, and more. Featured expert speakers will share tips and best practices on a range of useful subjects, from finanical reserve management to City of Chicago permitting processes. The goal of the series is to provide useful, educational and relevant information to association and condo board leadership, as well as to residents considering taking on a leadership role.

November's topic will be building and personal safety, with an emphasis on issues requiring special attention during the holiday season. Our guest speaker will be Ne Cole Bryson, a Chicago Police Department CAPS officer for the First District. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, and for attendees to share their experiences and network.

Home Works is a quarterly series, brought to you by the Greater South Loop Association. Refreshments will be provided, and your advance, paid registration also comes with one drink ticket. The remainder of the modest registration fee supports the work of GSLA to bring neighbors together, offer an array of social events and news, and do our part to create a vibrant, diverse and inclusive South Loop.
