Event description

Description

The Collaborative is an open forum promoting the exchange of information and resources for the care of our military, veterans and families. Interested service providers, veteran organizations and community programs that provide support for active duty military, veterans, wounded warriors and military families are encouraged to attend. The Sacramento Valley Region includes El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Yolo and Sacramento Counties. The meeting provides networking and an information program to facilitate our working together. Light breakfast goodies and coffee are provided

The LGBT panel is a group of Veterans who served and will be able to answer question from the collaborative members regarding their experience during and after “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.” This will be a “Safe Zone” and we encourage all questions verbal or written.

This special event we will have an LGBT panel representing Veterans who served. They will speak on their experience transitioning and coming out from the military to where they are today. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions as well as write your questions down to be answered anonymousl. This will be a "SAFE ZONE" and we encourage all questions verbal or written.

(Please bring your business cards and brochures to share.)
Business Cards will also be collected, scanned and shared with everyone.

In collaboration with the vision of the California Statewide Collaborative for our Military and their Families:
